Overheard on a Salt Marsh: by Anna Christenson

I was introduced to Anna's work through the Epilogue web site. At the time, Anna was just a young high school student. (Since then, she's gone on to become a very accoomplished professional artist.) This commissioned work is based on the poem, Overheard on a Salt Marsh by Harold Monro. I've always loved this poem, and Anna's delicate watercolor style seemed perfect for capturing the essence of this fanciful dialogue between nymph and goblin.

Unfortunately, my scans of the painting have difficulty capturing the colors and contrasts correctly when I try to capture the painting as a whole. I therefore have also provided some details of the painting which have better fidelity of color:
